Spam and Social Media: How to Avoid it

I am sure every Internet user has received such emails at least once in his lifetime that reads, “This is to inform you that you have been selected for a cash prize of 3,000,000.00… Please mention your Name, Age, Sex, Address, Telephone Number, City/State, Country, occupation to claim the amount”. This is one kind of spam message that I received recently. Luckily, I am aware about spamming; I ignored this email and didn’t reply. But, there are many people who come in the trap of these messages and end up in financial losses after providing their personal and bank details to spammers.
